In the 21st century the way a man looks is more important than ever. No longer are cosmetic products just confined to the female gender. Now they are just as important to both men and women. There are a variety of cosmetic products out there, and many men may not have considered a lot of them before. The range may not be as wide and varying as female grooming products, but a man can now choose products to look after himself, top to toe. The stigma of male grooming appears to have long waned, and looking good doesn’t have to cost the earth with many products available at affordable prices.

Hair Straighteners

Medium to long hair is a popular style amongst men of all ages these days. Hair straighteners allow the creation of different styles or simply to give hair a sleek, straight look. They are better at creating certain styles than gels and hair waxes because they don’t make the hair solid. The hair remains soft and fluffy, which both looks and feels a lot better.

Hand Cream

In the past it was common for men to have tough hands from physical labour. That’s not the case anymore. Tough hands with skin peeling off them are not an attractive look. Hand cream can be used to make them soft and supple, whilst not making them greasy. They also have the added advantage of making hands smell nice. There are a large number of creams on offer to suit all tastes, so the hardest part is deciding on just one. Also for looking after hands and nails, the male manicure has risen greatly in popularity.

Treatment Bar

The treatment bar is something that men rub on their face to create a face mask. It’s only a short-term mask and is best used at the end of a shower. It has therapeutic qualities, but its main use is to get deep into the pores of the skin and dig all the dirt out. Common problems that the different types of treatment bar can aid are blackheads, oily skin, and dry skin however, they won’t stop chronic problems, like long-term acne.

Moroccan Oil

Commonly known as argan oil, this is designed to moisturise the hair. This is a quick fix to the problem of dry and coarse hair. Simply put some on the hair and it will provide temporary relief for frizziness and lack of moisture. It also increases the shine of the hair as well, but it doesn’t do this in the same way greasy hair products do. It looks completely natural and can really enhance any man’s hair style.

Anti-Aging Eye Cream

Wrinkles are never attractive. They often first appear around the eyes, and act as the first warning sign that a man is getting older. Anti-aging eye cream can make sure that the aging process is stymied somewhat. Anti-aging eye cream does this by hydrating the delicate, thin skin around the eyes that loses elasticity as age creeps up.. They plump up the skin reducing the effect of furrows and wrinkles.
