Don't look like Chewbacca

Every woman loves a smooth face on a man, and most jobs require it. The problem is that most men have no idea what they’re doing when using a disposable shaver, and end up looking like Chewbacca from Star Wars.

If all this talk about how difficult it is to get a close shave scares you, not to worry, as I’m going to give you a simple step-by-step plan to help you get one.

The first step to getting a close, sexy shave is to get a sharp shaver that has triple blades. My favorite brand is the Wilkinson Sword Tech 3.

These shavers not only perform just as well as the more expensive brands, they were even better.  They cut the hair much smoother with far less nicks and a way closer shave.

Next you want to get a shaving gel that applies a lot of moisture and makes the hairs stand up. I’ve tried all the well-known shaving gels on the market ranging from cheap to expensive, but none have worked even half as well as the Gillette Foamy Shaving Cream. It’s not only the cheapest but also gives you the most for your money.

To really get the benefits of the shavers and shaving gel you want to first apply hot water to your face to prepare the hairs. Just don’t make the water too hot and burn your face.

Next you want to apply the Gillette Foamy Shaving Cream in generous amounts over all the hair on your face. Rub it in real good and leave it on for a few minutes or until the hairs on your face are standing straight up, whichever comes first.

Now run your shaver under hot water to add an extra amount of moisture. By now you should understand that the more moisture you have, the better the shave.

Make sure that while you’re shaving you take your time to make sure that all blades come in contact with your skin. With a little practice you can not only get a very smooth shave but hardly any nicks if any.

After every few swipes of the blade on your face, rinse under hot water and then tap the shaver on the side of the inside of the sink in order to knock the hairs out.

Keep repeating this until your face is completely shaven and smooth. Afterwards, wash your face and apply an oil free moisturizer to add smoothness back to your skin and help eliminate irritation.
